PDF Score Listen	When the Trumpets Shall Sound was commissioned by the Don and Shirley Oscarson Foundation. Don Oscarson selected the text from passages of the Doctrine and Covenants, passages which deal with the seven angels who, through their trumpets, announce the various stages of resurrection and judgment. The orchestra includes a narrator (voiced in this recording by Walter Rudolph) and a tenor soloist (Shane Warby) along with seven trumpets. Kory Katseanes led the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra in this November 17, 2011 premier.
